Developing Applications

With the Network Library

Notice: Make sure, you have understand the key principles before starting with development.

Developing applications directly with the Network Library is easy. When writing an application, you will have to accomplish tasks like the linking of handlers by yourself, but this grants you more freedom in what you do, more performance and less memory consumption and application complexity.

This tutorial is split into four parts:
  1. Writing a Router - explains how simple applications are made
  2. Extending the Router - explains how simple applications can be a extended
  3. Implementing own Traffic Handlers - explains how own networking tasks can be implemented
  4. Writing GUI Applications - best practice for GUI applications which use the Network Library
